Studio Remote for AXUM
« on: March 04, 2019, 06:16:44 PM »
Hello

we've got a studio remote provided with our AXUM system but we don't know how to use it.

Could you please provide a practical wiring diagram designed for AXUM system ?

Thank you

For the studio remote connect the Headphone connector to one of the bottom two connectors of the CRM monitor card.
With the switch between the Conn and Comm you can select CRM or Studio headphone.

The microphone connector goes to a input of the Microphone AD card.

Factory Opening hours:
Monday to Friday : 09.00 - 17.00 hour (Dutch local time)

Hello

currently, all our microphones are plugged into a MIC I/O Panel.
We're considering to associate one studio remote for each microphone. In that case, we won't need  mic I/O panel anymore.

So here's the question, are the analog to digital converters provided by the studio remote is the same kind/quality as those embedded in the mic I/O panel ?

Thank you

In the Axum all the RJ45 cables pass Analog signals for Mic Line in and out cards and only digital signals for the AES card.

Ok i see, it makes me realize that my question was a bit silly because the panels are not powered so they can't embed any kind of active converter.

I missed this obvious hint :
