Configuration: if you've lost settings in the Axum rack
« on: December 08, 2017, 09:44:38 AM »
First be sure to make a backup of you're existing configuration at the "System Configuration" tab.

Be carefull with the "Generate Sources" and "Generage Destinations" links if you only want to correct some settings, when clicked it removes all the settings for Sources or Destinations so you'll have to reconfigure everything!

If you lost some settings or the settings got mixed up follow this .pdf to set it up from scratch or correct the missing settings.

http://www.d-r.nl/wiki/dokudata/faq/axum/AXUM%20default%20configuration.pdf

The pictures show the default setup.
(With exeption of the CRM "Configure" at the "Rack configuration" line 1107 to 1114 they have to be in the next order CRM, CRM, STUDIO, STUDIO, CRM, CRM, STUDIO, STUDIO.)

Be sure that you have all the Line In and Line Out channels setup and you never delete the unused channels.
This way the settings from that deleted channel move to the next channel and everything gets mixed up.
The right way to disable channels is to not configure them in the "Module configuration" tab, disable them at the "Source pools" tab, Disable outputs at the "Module assignment".

If needed we can supply the image that is written on the Compact flash card.
This is a .Raw file that can be written to the Compact flash card by taking it out of the Rack ETX and connect it to a computer and write it with image software like DiskImage.
There are multiple sizes and types of Compact flash cards so please send us the Manufacturer and Size of your card.
Because of the actual data size of the card images may not fit on cards from different manufacturers and Sizes.

For 2Gb Apacer cards we have complete images for the Rack and Surface ETX with Axum cards configured the default way.
This way you only have to move the existing cards configuration to you're cards as explained in the next .pdf.
