D&R Airlite and USB

Using D&R Airlite, HP Compaq PC PRO 6000 SFF (USB 2.0) and mAirList version 6.1.5;

Last Saturday, I performed a 3 hour show. During this time the USB connection between Airlite and PC was lost 4 times. Everything seems to run flewless until random and without a reason (no error message) the connection is gone  >:(. Restart PC is the only solution.

Any idea cause and solution?

Does it lose the connection of the USB audio as well as the connection with the Control software and meters?

If the USB Audio keeps working and the meters lose the connection this is a problem with the Windows 10 USB drivers.
You can try to change the USB settings to a lower power saving state.

When both are lost try to change the USB cable to a new one.
Keep in mind that it isn't longer then 1,8meters and connected to a port directly at the mainboard (Backside of the computer) without any extension or hubs.

The connection between D&R Airlite and mAirlist (USB Audio) is lost. No audio on the stream anymore. I dit not check the connection with Control Software or meters.

I am using the original USB cable which comes with the D&R Airlite, directly attached to a USB 2.0 port on the back of the PC.

Did you also tried a different PC?

It can happen that the USB cables get defective so please first try a different cable.

If this doesnt fix the problem it is also possible the connector in the Airlite is worn out.
Let us know the serial number at the back of the mixer next to the connectors of the first channel.
This way we can tell if the unit is still under warranty and how to return the unit.

I do not have a spare PC equipped with mAirList ready instantly.

I will try a new USB cable and give feedback.

It seems the magic is happening.......changed the USB cable and uses an diferent USB 2.0 port.

Had no problem at all today during 2 hour live show.  ???

Still using DirectSound, will try WASAPI later as well.

It depends on the PC hardware what will work best.

I also start to notice audio problems with my airlite after a few weeks....
