F.A.Q.: It looks like the software is losing it's connection and comes back on again.

A.: This has to do with the power saving settings in Windows, some PC's act different to this issue then others.
Try to set the power saving settings that involve the USB to the lowest level (more power), in the Bios and Windows.

It can also help to set the Mimimal state of the processor to a different level like 50%, 70% or 100%.
This can be done in the Control panel > Power options > Change power plan settings > Change advanced power settings > Processor power management > Minimal Processor state.

Since the new Processors are a lot faster and most software doesn't ask for that much power Windows reduces the Processor and bus speed. When Windows asks processor power it needs to speed up again and at that moment the software has the lowest priority and it's transferring data seems to stop for a short moment. Running Windows in a higher minimum processor state will probably fix this.
