Designed to meet the demands of high-quality radio production, the Airmate-8 is the perfect companion for self-operated production DJs.
With features like an internal two Telephone Hybrid, USB connection to the PC for streaming to the web, the option of a VoIP or wireless connection to your phone, AES output or using our Studio Remote unit, the Airmate-8 is built to deliver exceptional performance.
Its 8 vertical triple input modules offer flexibility rarely found in a mixer of this type, giving you the freedom to create the perfect sound every time.
The Airmate-8 features six input channels with balanced microphone inputs on XLR and two stereo line level inputs on Cinch (RCA) connectors. Each microphone input also has an insert for signal processors, allowing you to customize your sound to perfection.

Each line level input B can be also converted into a phono channel by installing an optional stereo R.I.A.A. equalized phono pre-amp, giving you even more flexibility and control over your sound.

Dedicated VoIP channels are available on channels 7 and 8 of the Airmate-8, or you can combine one TELCO module with one VoIP module for added flexibility.

When you include a VoIP channel, you will receive a USB connector in place of the RJ11, allowing you to connect your VoIP channel to your computer and use it with any VoIP software available.

The Studio Remote is the ultimate solution for addressing your communication needs between the studio and presenter area. Specifically designed as a remote and communication interface, it seamlessly connects the mixing console with the announcer or guest.
Featuring a headphones amplifier and a cough/communication button, the Studio Remote is the perfect solution for both announcers and guests, providing unmatched convenience and functionality.

Please note that the Studio Remote can be used without any problems with our current version (v.11) of the Airmate mixer. If you already own an Airmate unit and wish to add the Studio Remote to your setup, we recommend contacting D&R first.
